COLOR.ME – Find Your Perfect Shade.
Step 1 – Understand Your Starting Point
Before choosing your shade, identify your current hair condition:
-
Natural hair
-
Previously colored hair
-
Presence of grey hair
-
Regrowth that differs from the mid-lengths and ends
Step 2 – Decide on Your Desired Result
Ask yourself what you want to achieve:
-
Maintain the same level
-
Go darker
-
Go lighter
-
Cover grey hair
Step 3 – Know the Basic Rule
-
Natural hair can generally be lifted up to two levels
-
Previously colored hair cannot be lightened with color, only maintained at the same level or taken darker
-
For stronger grey coverage, choose shades that include 00
Step 4 – Choose Your Color Family
Select the tone that best suits your desired result:
-
Natural for a balanced, natural-looking finish
-
Warm for golden, copper, or richer reflects
-
Cool for ash, violet, or more neutralized results
Example
If the regrowth contains grey hair and the lengths are already a 7.1, and the goal is to keep the same level while creating a more even overall result, apply:
7.00 75g + 7.1 25g on the regrowth for strong grey coverage with a tone that blends beautifully into the lengths.
During the last 10 minutes, mix the remaining formula with CLEAR and apply through the lengths and ends only. This helps refresh the existing color, soften any contrast, and create a more even result without making the hair look darker.
Processing Time Matters
-
For proper grey coverage, process for a minimum of 35 minutes
-
If the grey hair is resistant or the hair is thick, leave for up to 45 minutes
-
Do not use heat during processing, as this can affect the final result and grey coverage performance
